Averaged 16.3 points and ranked second in the BIG EAST in free throw shooting at 85.5 percent. Has a chance to be named All-BIG EAST First Team pick three years in a row, only 11 players have achieved the feat. Isaac Copeland, F, So., 6-9, 220 Raleigh, N.C./Brewster Academy Averaged 6.8 points and 3.8 rebounds as a freshman. Made the BIG EAST All-Rookie Team. Hoyas took a trip to Italy and Switzerland over the summer. L.J. Peak, F, So., 6-5, 215 Gaffney. S.C./ Gaffney Was a starter as a freshman last season and averaged 7.9 points. He led the league in assists at 7.5 and steals at 2.7. He is the only guard to earn Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors in the same season in league history. Ben Bentil, C, So., 6-9, 235 Wilmington, Del./ St. Andrew’s School Averaged 6.4 points and 4.9 rebounds. Started 23 games as a freshman. Lists his favorite team as Manchester United. Jalen Lindsey, G, So., 6-7, 210 Murfreesboro, Tenn./ Huntington Prep Averaged 3.8 points as a freshman. Made 13 starts while playing all 34 games. His mother played college basketball at Alabama and Houston and his cousin is Brandon Triche who played at Syracuse from 2009-13 Junior Lomomba, F, Jr., 6-5, 205 Montreal, Que./Cleveland State A defensive specialist, he played 18.5 minutes per game and started 13 games. Transferred from Cleveland State. Played on two Canadian junior national teams. ST. Spent four days as college counselor at Steph Curry’s select camp in early July and got a chance to watch film with Curry 1-on-1 to work on his game. Averaged 10.1 points and ranked second in the BIG EAST in assist/turnover at 2.7. Spent a month with an Italian national team where among his teammates were Marquette’s Matt Carlino and Creighton’s Will Artino Daniel Ochefu, F, Sr., 6-11, 245 Baltimore,Md./ Downingtown East Averaged 9.2 points and 8.5 rebounds last season. Shot 64.4 percent from the floor and made All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention. As a sophomore, shared BIG EAST Most Improved Player Award with then teammate Darrun Hilliard. XAVIER Remy Abell, G, Sr., 6-4, 195 Louisville, Ky./Indiana Averaged 8.4 points in his first season at XU after transferring from Indiana. A defensive standout, he started 34 games. His aunt is track great Wilma Rudolph and his cousin is Bo Jackson. James Farr, F, Sr., 6-10, 247 Evanston, Ill./Maine Central Institute Averaged 4.2 points and 5.3 rebounds. Started 26 games. Third on the team in rebounding despite only playing 15.6 minutes per game.
