Providence's Dunn, Creighton's Thomas Win MBB Weekly Awards
NEW YORK – Providence guard Kris Dunn has been BIG EAST Player of the Week and Creighton guard Khyri Thomas has been selected BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Dunn scored a career-high 32 points in a win over Harvard and Thomas had 18 points to help the Bluejays beat Texas Southern.

Kris Dunn, Providence
Dunn registered career highs of 32 points and eight steals in a 76-64 victory over Harvard. He also had six rebounds and five assists. With the Friars leading 43-41 with 12:52 to play, Dunn scored 14 of the next 16 PC points. He is the BIG EAST Preseason Player of the Year.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Khyri Thomas, Creighton
Thomas led Creighton with 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field in a 93-70 win over Texas Southern. He made 2-of-3 from 3-point range. His point total was the highest by a Bluejay freshman in a debut since 2007.
BIG EAST Honor Roll

Recorded 18 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals in 26 minutes of a 144-71 win over The Citadel.

Had 18 points, five rebounds and four assists in a 69-63 victory over Western Michigan.
Henry Ellenson, Marquette, F, Fr.
Posted 21 points and 16 rebounds in his collegiate debut, an 83-80 loss to Belmont.
Isaiah Whitehead, Seton Hall, G, So.
Averaged 18.0 points, 5.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds in a pair of victories.
Jalen Reynolds, Xavier, F, Jr.
Finished with 16 points, 15 rebounds and four steals in an 81-72 victory over Miami, Ohio.
