Providence's Dunn, Marquette's Ellenson Take Weekly MBB Honors
NEW YORK – In a week when BIG EAST teams captured four in-season tournament titles and finished second in a fifth, Providence guard Kris Dunn has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week. Marquette forward Henry Ellenson has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the week.
To date, BIG EAST teams are 45-14 (.763) against non-league opponents.

Kris Dunn, Providence, G, Jr.
Dunn averaged 20.0 points, 7.3 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals in a 3-1 week which included a 69-65 win against No. 11/10 Arizona in the Wooden Legacy when he scored 10 points in the final two minutes of the game. For the season, Dunn is second in the BIG EAST in scoring (19.0) and first in assists (6.7) and steals (3.7).
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Henry Ellenson, Marquette, F, Fr.
Ellenson averaged 16.3 points and 10.7 rebounds in a 3-0 week that included beating No. 22/17 LSU and Arizona State to win the Legends Classic. He was named MVP. Ellenson shot 52.8 percent from the floor and posted double-doubles in each game. He is averaging 15.2 points and a league-leading 9.8 rebounds.

Kellen Dunham, Butler, G, Sr.
Scored 32 points on 10-of-15 from the floor, including five 3-pointers in a 89-73 win against SIU-Edwardsville.
Cole Huff, Creighton, F, Jr.
Named MVP of the Men Who Speak Up Event as a part of a 3-0 week. He averaged 15.0 points and 5.3 rebounds.
Luke Fischer, Marquette, C, Jr.
Averaged 16.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in a 3-0 week. Shot 60.0 percent from the floor. Made the Legends Classic All-Tournament Team.
Jalen Brunson, Villanova, G, Fr.
Was named MVP of the NIT Tip-Off after averaging 15.5 points in wins over Stanford and Georgia Tech.
Trevon Bluiett, Xavier, G, So.
Led Xavier to the Advocare Invitational title and a 4-0 week by averaging 14.3 points and 7.5 rebounds. Made the All-Tournament Team.
