DePaul knocks off No. 15/16 Texas A&M in College Station.

18/17 DePaul 80, 15/16 Texas A&M 66
Led by Megan Podkowa’s season-high 20 points and career-high 18 rebounds, the No. 18/17 DePaul women’s basketball team defeated No. 15/16 Texas A&M 80-66 at Reed Arena. The win was DePaul’s first top 25 road victory since the Blue Demons defeated then-No. 9/10 Duke at Cameron Indoor, 74-65 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Mar. 24, 2014. DePaul led for nearly 35 minutes as the lead changed sides just twice.

RV/RV Seton Hall 92, Liberty 56  
Tiffany Jones was one of four Pirates in double-figures, as all 10 Pirates that saw the floor found their way onto the scoresheet in a complete effort. The Pirates led by eight after an up-and-down first half before tightening the clamps on the defensive end in the second half. The Hall out-scored the Lady Flames 46-18 in the second half and held Liberty to 3-of-25 shooting (12.0 percent) in the final stanza

Alabama 78, Georgetown 66
A tough third quarter proved to be the difference as the Georgetown fell to Alabama, 78-66, on Saturday afternoon at Foster Auditorium in Tuscaloosa, Ala.  Freshman point guard Dionna White led the way with 17 points and seven rebounds as well as five assists, while sophomore guard Dorothy Adomako added 14 points.  The Hoyas trailed by six at halftime before their offense was slowed to just 10 points in the third period as the Crimson Tide increased their advantage to as many as 21.

FGCU 50, Providence 41
The Friars trailed 20-15 at halftime, after being held to just four points in the opening quarter (10-4). The Eagles started the second half on a 6-0 run to take a 26-15 lead and force a Providence timeout (8:02). Jovana `Yoyo' Nogic (Lisbon, Portugal) netted a three-point bucket at the 7:14 mark to cut the lead to eight (26-18), but FGCU pushed out to a 14-point advantage (36-22) with 2:42 on the clock. The Eagles took a 39-26 edge into the fourth and final quarter. Junior guard Sarah Beal recorded her second-straight double-double with 12 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.

South Dakota State 53, Creighton 51     
South Dakota State held Creighton without a field goal over the final 5:21 and escaped D.J. Sokol Arena with a 53-51 win  in women's basketball action on Saturday evening in Omaha. SDSU scored the game's first four points before Creighton rallied to take an 11-8 lead by the end of the first quarter, and 24-22 lead into the break. CU led by as much as 24-16 in the final two minutes of the second period before the Jackrabbits closed the period with a 6-0 run to draw within two. Jade Owens made 6-of-7 field goals and had a career-high 14 points at the break for CU, carrying the load for the Jays.
