New York – Connecticut’s Charlotte Veitner continues to lead the offensive push for the undefeated No. 1 Huskies.

Veitner recorded back-to-back hat tricks over the weekend, the first in a 7-0 win over Quinnipiac and the second in the 9-1 victory at Columbia, to help keep UConn unbeaten. After two weeks of play Veitner leads the conferences with 10 goals and 14 points.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Kealsie Robles, Old Dominion, Fr., GK
Robles made her first career start in goal on Friday against No. 19 Michigan State, helping to preserve the 4-3 win for the Monarchs. Two days later, she anchored the ODU defense that allowed just three Kent State shots, recording the team’s first shutout of the season in the 6-0 conquest.

Helena Masiello, Georgetown, Fr., F
Masiello became the first freshman to score for the Hoyas this season when she registered the first goal of her collegiate career in the 4-2 win over St. Francis (Pa.)
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Danielle Grega, Old Dominion, So., F
Grega put up her first goal of the season and an assist in the second half to assure ODU the win over the Spartans on Friday. She then tallied two more goals on Sunday against Kent State.
Devin Holmes, Georgetown, Jr., D
Against St. Francis (Pa), Holmes picked up an assist before putting away the game-winning goal for the Hoyas’ second victory on the year.
Kristen Mericle, Villanova, So., M
Mericle scored two goals against Ball State to help give the Wildcats their first victory of the season, 6-1.
