After a scoreless opening half, four combined goals were scored over the final 45 minutes, including three straight for St. John’s by three different Red Storm players. Shea Connors got St. John’s on the board in the 55
th minute before Samie Scaffidi notched her fourth goal of the year in the 58
th, the eventual game winner. Lucy Whipp added a third before Samantha Dewey got the Musketeers on the board in the 90
th. Diana Poulin made three saves for St. John’s while Rachel Piccus and Toni Bizzarro combined for three as well.

Marquette 2, Villanova 0
The Golden Eagles eliminated Villanova from playoff contention while keeping themselves in the conversation for a first-round bye with a 2-0 win on Thursday. MU scored a goal in each half in a game which saw a combined 35 shots and 11 corner kicks. Liz Bartels scored her third goal of the year for the game winner in the 20
th minute before an own goal in the 47
th provided some cushion for Marquette. Maddy Henry made eight saves for MU while Emily Harris denied five shots for Villanova.

Georgetown 4, Seton Hall 0
The Hoyas clinched a spot in the BIG EAST Championship while eliminating the Pirates from continuing their season with a 4-0 win on Thursday in South Orange. Four different Georgetown players scored goals, with Crystal Thomas’ penalty kick in the 42
nd minute being marked as the game winner. Anna MacLean made five saves for The Hall before Illissa Blackshear came in to celebrate senior day and make three stops. Arielle Schechtman made two saves for the Hoyas. Georgetown outshot the Pirates 16-4 and held a 10-3 advantage in corner kicks.

DePaul 2, Providence 1
The Blue Demons thwarted the Friars comeback attempt to clinch a spot in the BIG EAST Championship field following a 2-1 win in Chicago. Both DePaul goals came in the first half, first by Ana Greik in the 31
st and then Madeline Frick’s eventual game winner in the 37
th. A more aggressive Providence attack came out in the second period, outshooting DePaul 5-3 and scoring the lone goal of the frame as Kathryn Hiller buried one in the 64
th minute. Lauren Frasca made one save for the Blue Demons while Kristyn Shea denied five shots for the Friars. DePaul’s 13-0 shooting advantage in the first half would finish at 16-5 for the game, while each team was limited to just one corner kick apiece.

Butler 2, Creighton 0
A goal in each half kept the Bulldogs postseason hopes alive while thinning the Bluejays as Butler scored a 2-0 victory. Hannah Luedtke made three saves to keep Creighton off the scoreboard while Serina Kashimoto connected on a penalty kick for the game-winning goal. Paige Monaghan provided the insurance score in the 68
th minute. Butler held a 19-9 advantage in shots while the Bluejays held a 4-3 corner kick advantage. McKenzie Meola made nine saves for Creighton.
