BIG EAST Player of the Week
Brittany Maxwell, DePaul, So., RS (Macomb, Mich.)

Brittany Maxwell led the streaking Blue Demons to a 2-0 weekend with wins over Villanova and Georgetown. The sophomore totaled 31 kills for 4.43 kills/set, nine digs and eight blocks over seven sets. In the 3-1 win over the Wildcats Maxwell had 19 kills, committing just two errors on 38 attacks, and five blocks finishing with 22.5 points. In the sweep of the Hoyas, Maxwell did not commit an attacking error with 12 kills, three blocks and three digs. Maxwell finished the weekend with a .500 hitting percentage (31 kills, 2 errors, 58 total).
 
BIG EAST Freshman  of the Week
Erica DiMaulo, St. John’s, Fr., Setter (Milan, Italy)
Freshman setter Erica DiMaulo averaged 11.75 assists per set in a 1-1 week for St. John’s, the second-best assist average for the week in league play. DiMaulo added 2.06 point, 1.62 digs and 1.0 kills per set to her weekly average. In 3-1 win over Seton Hall, DiMaulo had a season-high five aces to go along with 50 assists, six digs and three kills. In the four-set loss to Villanova, DiMaulo collected 44 assists to go along with five kills and ace and seven digs. The freshman hit .421 for the weekend with eight total kills, 0 errors in 19 attempts. DiMaulo also added five blocks to her weekly total.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Makayla Ferguson, Butler, Jr., Setter (Martinsville, Ind.)
Ferguson helped Butler split a pair of conference games as she tallied a double-double in each three-set match in a win vs. Providence and a loss against Creighton. Ferguson averaged 4.33 digs, 1.17 kills and 11.17 assists per set with 34 assists, 14 digs vs. Providence and 33 assists, 12 digs vs. Creighton.
 
Lydia Dimke, Creighton, Jr., Setter (Ham Lake, Minn.)
Dimke’s league-best 11.83 assists per set for the week helped Creighton to another 2-0 weekend with set sweeps at Butler and Xavier. Dimke had a double-double against Butler with 40 assists, 11 digs. Her stat line included 2.83 digs, 2.17 kills and 2.75 points per set.
 
Jenna Rosenthal, Marquette, RS-So., MH (Fond du Lac, Wis.)
Rosenthal averaged 4.62 points per set in 1-1 week for Marquette with a career-high 19 kills and .600 hitting in a 3-1 loss to Villanova. Rosenthal averaged 3.75 kills and 1.50 blocks per set with eight blocks in a 3-1 win over Georgetown to go along with 11 kills.
 
Danielle Schroeder, Seton Hall, Sr., OH (Chicago, Ill.)
Schroeder averaged 3.86 kills, 1.29 blocks, 0.71 digs per set in a 1-1 week for Seton Hall as she averaged 4.50 points per set with a .383 attack percentage. Schroeder has reached double-figure kills in her last eight matches. Despite the loss at St. John’s Schroeder still put up seven blocks.
 
Emma Decker, Villanova, Fr., Setter (LaGrange, Ill.)
Decker had at least 41 assists in each match in a 2-1 week for Villanova averaging 11.58 assists per set to go along with 1.25 points and 1.92 digs per set. Decker had a double-double in the Marquette win, with 54 assists, 12 digs.
