DePaul senior matches BIG EAST record while Georgetown rookie earns fifth honor.

BIG EAST Player of the Week
Chanise Jenkins, DePaul, 5-5, Sr., G
Jenkins helped to keep nationally ranked DePaul all alone atop the BIG EAST standings following wins at Villanova and Georgetown over the weekend. The senior shot an impressive 72 percent from the field, including 68.4 percent from beyond the arc, highlighted by a record-matching performance on Sunday afternoon. Jenkins shot 10-of-13 from three-point range against the Hoyas, matching the BIG EAST single-game record for three-pointers made set by Maya Moore in 2009. Along with her career-high 30 points, she also dished seven assists (following an eight-assist showing against the Wildcats), pushing her career total in league games to 304, good for 19th all-time in Conference history. For the week Jenkins averaged 24.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.5 steals.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Dionna White, Georgetown, 5-5, Fr., G
White claims her fifth weekly certificate of the year after leading Georgetown to a 1-1 weekend, including a notable win over Marquette on Friday. Against the Golden Eagles, White totaled 15 points, nine boards, eight assists and five steals, with 11 points scored in the final decisive quarter. Against league-leader DePaul on Sunday, the rookie scored 24 points on 10-of-20 shooting, grabbing five rebounds and dishing three assists. For the week she averaged 19.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Maddison Blackwell, Xavier, 5-11, Jr., F
Blackwell led second-place Xavier to a 2-0 week by averaging team highs of 13.5 points and 7.5 rebounds while sinking 55.6 percent of her shots. In just 20 minutes against Providence on Friday the junior totaled 17 points, six boards and four steals.
Caroline Coyer, Villanova, 5-10, Sr., G
In a 1-1 week for the Wildcats, Coyer averaged 17.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists, highlighted by a 25-point effort against Marquette on Sunday. The senior added five boards and four dimes against the Golden Eagles.
Blaire Langlois, Butler, 5-8, Sr., G
In a 1-1 weekend for the Bulldogs, Langlois averaged 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists. Butler halted its seven-game skid with a win over Providence on Sunday in which Langlois totaled 12 points, six boards and three dimes.
Aaliyah Lewis, St. John’s, 5-5, Jr., G
Lewis led the Red Storm to a pivotal regular-season sweep of Seton Hall following Sunday’s road win over the Pirates. The junior scored a game-high 22 points off 7-of-11 shooting, adding a trio of rebounds and assists.
Megan Podkowa, DePaul, 6-2, Sr., G/F
Podkowa was part of the one-two punch that led to a pair of road wins last week for DePaul, averaging 19.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists while sinking 60 percent of her shots. She drained 4-of-5 attempts from deep at Georgetown on Sunday en route to a 26-point showing.
