Katherine Finkelston, Connecticut, Sr., A
The nation’s leading scorer stayed on track in wins over William & Mary and Fairfield, combining for 10 goals and an assist as the Huskies improved to 6-1 on the season. Against the Tribe, the senior beat the keeper on all five of her shots while also adding a ground ball. Against the Stags three days later, Finkelston totaled five goals off six shots and dished a dime while also picking up a ground ball. For the year, Finkelston averages 4.14 goals per game to lead all Division I players, and 4.71 points per contest to rank ninth nationally.

Allison Lane, Marquette, So., M
Lane stuffed the stat sheet against Central Michigan on Saturday to boost the Golden Eagles to their third win of the year. The sophomore totaled a goal, assist, three caused turnovers, six draw controls and a pair of ground balls as MU topped the Chippewas 17-4.
BIG EAST Defensive Player Of The Week
Shannon Nee, Connecticut, Sr., GK
Nee posted a .613 save percentage and 6.29 goals against average in a pair of UConn wins last week. The senior made 19 saves in victories over William & Mary and Fairfield, allowing just four scores against the Tribe and making 12 stops against the Stags.
BIG EAST Freshman Of The Week
Taylor Gebhardt, Georgetown, Fr., A
In a 1-1 week for the Hoyas, Gebhardt totaled six goals and two assists, including a six-point effort in Georgetown’s 15-12 win at George Mason. Trailing 6-4, the rookie notched back-to-back goals to even the score at 6-6, then again at 7-7 early in the second half as Georgetown never fell behind again. She added a pair of scores against nationally ranked Johns Hopkins three days later.

Megan Bell, Cincinnati, R-Sr., A
Bell had a hand in all five of the Bearcats’ scores in a narrow setback to Coastal Carolina, scoring four goals and dishing an assist while adding a pair of draw controls.
Lindsey Ronbeck, Florida, Fr., M
Ronbeck totaled two goals and an assist against the reigning national champions and top-ranked Maryland Terrapins. Trailing 2-0 early in the first half, Ronbeck notched back-to-back goals to even the score, 2-2, with 10 minutes to play in the period before the Terps pulled away for the win, handing the Gators their first setback of the year.
Julianna Shearer, Marquette, Jr., A
Shearer matched a career high with five goals and six points, all in the opening half against Central Michigan on Saturday. She added a pair of draw controls and a caused turnover as the Golden Eagles cruised to the 17-4 win.
