Allie Pavinelli, Florida, So., A
Pavinelli guided the explosive offensive effort for No. 2/2 Florida in Saturday’s 16-2 league-opening win over Vanderbilt. The sophomore came off the bench to notch a hat trick, beating the keeper on all three shots she took on the afternoon. Pavinelli was 1-for-1 on free-position shots and added a pair of draw controls to match the team high. The second-ranked Gators improved to 10-1 on the season with the win.
BIG EAST Midfielder Of The Week
Nicole Graziano, Florida, R-Sr., M
Graziano earns her fourth weekly award of the season after stuffing the stat sheet in the Gators’ 16-2 win over Vanderbilt on Saturday. The redshirt-senior totaled five goals and added an assist, ground ball and caused turnover, while going 3-for-3 on free-position shots.
BIG EAST Defensive Player Of The Week
Jaqi Kakalecik, Temple, Sr., GK
In 60 minutes in the cage against California on Saturday, Kakalecik made nine saves and surrendered just three goals as the Owls scored an 18-3 victory. Her .750 save percentage against the Bears bumped her season average to .519 to rank second in the BIG EAST, while her goals against average dropped to 6.20 on the year, best in the conference. Kakalecik has been credited with all eight of Temple’s non-conference wins, playing all 600 minutes thus far.
BIG EAST Freshman Of The Week
Grace Gabriel, Marquette, Fr., A
Against a pair of difficult non-conference contenders, Gabriel totaled six draw controls and three ground balls, while adding a goal and an assist. In Monday’s setback to No. 5/6 Notre Dame, the rookie stuffed the stat sheet with two draw controls, a ground ball, a goal and assist after totaling four draw controls and two ground balls at Denver on Friday.

Kristen Bandos, Georgetown, Sr., M
Despite coming up shy against nationally ranked Loyola on Tuesday, Bandos did all she could to give the Hoyas a fighting chance, totaling five goals on six shots while adding three draw controls.
Taylor Bresnahan, Florida, Jr., D
Bresnahan anchored the Gator defense which surrendered just two goals in Florida’s BIG EAST-opening win over Vanderbilt on Saturday, 16-2. She junior caused two turnovers and also scored a goal.
Kelsey Catalano, Connecticut, So., M
Catalano led the offensive effort in the Huskies’ 13-8 win over visiting Villanova on Saturday, totaling four goals and a draw control as UConn came from behind for the victory.
