#BIGEASTbase Minute - Xavier Baseball Headed To Music City For NCAA Regional
CINCINNATI - Xavier, the BIG EAST Baseball Championship and regular season title winners, will travel to Nashville, Tenn. on June 3-6 to participate in the NCAA Tournament as the Musketeers advanced to the Big Dance for the second time in three years. Xavier will face No. 1 seed Vanderbilt in the opening round of the double-elimination regional at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 3.
The Musketeers are 30-28 overall and have won 16 times in their last 18 games. It is the second time in three years Xavier received the automatic berth to the NCAA Championship from the BIG EAST.
Also in the field of four is No. 2 seed UC Santa Barbara and No. 3 seed Washington. They will play on Friday at 3 p.m.
