NEW YORK --  The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released their national rankings on Tuesday with two BIG EAST men’s soccer teams in the top 25 and one receiving votes.
 
Creighton (1-0-0) was ranked No. 8 with 451 points. Georgetown (0-2-0) came in at No. 24 with 59 points. Creighton defeated then-No. 25 Rutgers in the season-opener 2-0. The Hoyas lost two close ones over the weekend to then-No. 2/1 Akron and West Virgina. Butler is receiving 19 points in the poll after holding Louisville to a scoreless tie on Friday night.

The Bluejays are also ranked seventh in both the College Soccer News Top 30 and the Soccer America Top 25. Additionally, Creighton (1-0-0) checked in at No. 9 in the Top Drawer Soccer Top 25. Georgetown was also No. 25 in Soccer America. The Hoyas, Butler and Xavier were mentioned in the College Soccer News poll, but not in the rankings.
 
In the NCAA statistical rankings, Butler ranks second in the country in saves per game (10.00). Creighton is one of 54 teams with a 1.000 win percentage.  Butler goalkeeper Eric Dick leads the country in saves per game (10.00). Marquette’s Luka Prpa is fifth in the NCAA in total assist (2), while three BIG EAST players are eighth with two goals: Andres Arcila, Seton Hall, Julian Gressel, Providence and Prpa.
