BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Rachel Corboz, Georgetown, Jr., M  
At No. 12/7 Rutgers on Friday night, Georgetown pulled off the overtime upset victory thanks to Corboz’s pair of goals, including the golden goal in the 91st minute. The Scarlet Knights took the lead just four minutes into the contest but Corboz responded with a penalty kick in the 15th minute to even the score at 1-1. In the first overtime period, Corboz took a feed from Grace Damaska and beat the keeper by the left post to clinch the BIG EAST’s first win over a top-25 opponent since 2014.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Taylor Schissler, DePaul, Sr., D
Schissler anchored the defensive effort which pushed DePaul to a 1-0-1 mark over the weekend, including a draw against RV Hofstra and an emphatic 5-0 win over host Army West Point. The Blue Demons outshot their opponents by a combined 35-17 margin, allowing just four shots all weekend to reach the DePaul goalkeeper. Schissler also provided a bit of offense, scoring the game-tying goal in the 77th minute against Hofstra and being credited with an assist against the Black Knights.
 
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Kristyn Shea, Providence, Sr., GK
Shea played 180 minutes of scoreless soccer last week, earning shutout victories against Boston University and Colgate. The senior made 11 total saves, including five against the Terriers and six against the Raiders. The Friars topped BU 2-0 and routed Colgate 5-0 for their second and third straight victories, respectively.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
McKenzie Meola, Creighton, Fr., GK
The Bluejay rookie goalkeeper played all 200 minutes of Creighton’s 1-0-1 week, making six total saves and posting a .750 save percentage. Meola made four stops against Kansas State in a 1-1 draw on Friday night before denying two shots in a 2-1 victory at South Dakota State on Sunday.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Morgan Proffitt, Marquette, Sr., D/M
Proffitt’s week was highlighted by providing the game-tying score at No. 22/25 Santa Clara on Thursday, scoring the equalizer in the 64th minute as Marquette earned the double-overtime draw.
Ana Greik, DePaul, Sr., F
Greik beat the keeper on all three shots she took at Army West Point on Sunday, totaling a hat trick in the Blue Demons’ 5-0 victory.
Juliana Pellegrini, Providence, Jr., M
In a 2-0 week for the Friars, Pellegrini led the offensive charge with three goals off five shots, including both goals in Providence’s 2-0 win over Boston University on Thursday.
Shea Connors, St. John’s, Jr., F
Connors led the Red Storm to a 2-0 mark last week, assisting on both goals in St. John’s 2-0 win at Yale on Friday and providing a goal and assist in a 5-1 win over Fairfield on Sunday night.
Samantha Dewey, Xavier, So., F
In the Musketeers’ lone game last week, Dewey scored a pair of goals, including the 83rd-minute game-winner in Xavier’s 3-1 win over Dayton.
