All 10 BIG EAST teams are in action on Saturday with four conference contests and two non-league tilts.  Five of the six games are part of long and storied rivalries.

In the third BIG EAST game this week between ranked opponents, No. 12/13 Butler hosts No. 15/14 Xavier at 2 p.m. on FS1.  The two rivals have met 55 times with Xavier winning six of the seven contests under the BIG EAST banner.

No. 3/3 Villanova meets St. John’s at Madison Square Garden at noon on FS1.  The two teams have met 112 times with St. John’s holding a 59-53 edge in the series, though the Wildcats have won 15 of the last 16 encounters.

Providence and Seton Hall will play for the 100th time, battling at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center for a noon tipoff on FSN.  The Friars hold a 51-48 lead in the series, but the Pirates lead 31-28 in BIG EAST regular-season play.

Georgetown hosts former league foe Connecticut at noon on FOX.  The Hoyas own a 35-30 lead in the series, though the Huskies won 68-62 in last year’s game in Hartford.

DePaul and Marquette have been playing since 1918.  Saturday’s matchup in Milwaukee will be the 119th in the series.  Marquette holds a 72-46 edge, but the two teams have split the last four meetings.  Tipoff is 2 p.m. on FSN.

No. 8/8 Creighton steps outside of league play with a home game against Truman State on FS2 at 1 p.m.
