Brooke Schulte claims third award of the season while Kelly Campbell garners first career honor.

BIG EAST Player of the Week
Brooke Schulte, DePaul, Sr., G
Schulte earns back-to-back honors and her third certificate of the season overall following impressive performances in a 3-0 week. The senior guard averaged a league-high 24.3 points per game in victories over St. John’s, Butler and Xavier as No. 21/20 DePaul stretched its win streak to 10 games and remained undefeated (8-0) in BIG EAST play. Schulte averaged over seven points per game more than the next best player in the league last week, shooting at a lights out .681 clip. After 21 points at St. John’s and 24 against Butler, Schulte capped the week with a 28-point 11-rebound showing against Xavier on Sunday. She added 5.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists over the three outings.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Kelly Campbell, DePaul, Fr., G
Campbell helped the Blue Demons to a 3-0 week, averaging 9.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in wins over St. John’s, Butler and Xavier. The rookie posted back-to-back 11-point six-rebound showings over the weekend, adding three dimes against the Bulldogs and four against the Musketeers. Campbell also shot .444 from the field and .571 from deep.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Raeshaun Gaffney, Xavier, R-Sr., G
Gaffney averaged 17.0 points, 4.5 rebounds in a difficult road stretch at Marquette and No. 21/20 DePaul this weekend, eclipsing 1,000 career points Sunday against the Blue Demons. Gaffney’s 22 points at DePaul are the most any league player has scored against the Blue Demons this season.
Marissa Janning, Creighton, Sr., G
Janning led the Bluejays to a 2-0 week by averaging 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. In Tuesday’s win over Villanova, the senior guard posted 18 points, 10 rebounds and three dimes before adding 11 points, five boards and four helpers in Saturday win at Providence.
Jade Walker, St. John’s, Sr., F
Walker averaged 16.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and .513 shooting, becoming the 23rd player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points. She posted a team-high 16 points against No. 21/20 DePaul and a game-high 20 points in a win at Georgetown before adding 13 points at Villanova.  
Faith Woodard, Georgetown, Sr., F
In a 2-1 week for the Hoyas, Woodard averaged 16.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and .516 shooting, including 22 points in a win at Providence and 19 in a victory over Seton Hall
McKayla Yentz, Marquette, Sr., F
In a 3-0 week for the Golden Eagles, Yentz averaged 16.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and impressive shooting marks of .615 from the field and .583 from deep.
