NEW YORK – The BIG EAST spring Olympic sports schedule features 26 contests that will be broadcast to a national television audience. BIG EAST men’s lacrosse headlines the schedule with 11 games with six on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN).
 
The BIG EAST’s broadcast partner, FOX Sports, will carry eight contests spanning four Olympic sports: men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, baseball and softball. FS2 will air all four BIG EAST Championship finals. The BIG EAST softball championship is broadcast entirely on FS2.  All BIG EAST Championships are presented by Jeep.
 
FOX’s BIG EAST Olympic sports coverage will start on Sunday, April 9 when FS1 carries the Villanova at Denver men’s lacrosse contest. Villanova was picked second after Denver in the league’s preseason poll released on Jan. 25. The Pioneers were the unanimous No. 1 pick with the Wildcats’ receiving the final first-place vote. FS1 will also broadcast a Seton Hall vs. Xavier baseball game on Thursday, April 13. Xavier won both the BIG EAST regular season and tournament in 2016.
 
All of FOX’s broadcasted games will be available on FOX’s mobile platform, the FOX Sports Go app, also home to the BIG EAST’s 225 BIG EAST Digital Network events. The spring schedule for BEDN will be announced the week of Jan. 30.
 
CBSSN will carry eight total contests, six of them men’s lacrosse, including coverage of the championship semifinals in Providence, R.I.  CBSSN will have three-straight Saturday’s of men’s lacrosse action leading up to the championship, starting Saturday April 15 when Georgetown hosts Villanova. The following weekend, CBS will have a BIG EAST Men’s Lacrosse doubleheader with defending BIG EAST Champion Marquette hosting Duke in a non-conference tilt at 1 p.m. ET; followed by a Providence at Denver BIG EAST semifinal rematch at 3:30 p.m. ET. The 2016 BIG EAST Championship title rematch with Denver visiting Marquette will air on Saturday, April 29. For the second-straight year, the BIG EAST Men’s Lacrosse Championship Semis Presented by Jeep will air on the network on Thursday, May 4 with a doubleheader beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET.
 
CBSSN’s baseball schedule includes two non-conference games: Nebraska at Creighton on May 10 and Kansas at Creighton on May 16.
 
Denver men’s and women’s lacrosse will be featured on the Altitude Sports and Entertainment TV, the official television network of the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth and Colorado Rapids. Altitude on Dish Network, nationwide is Channel 413 and 681 on DirectTV.
 
Additionally, Georgetown’s game against Notre Dame on Feb. 18 in Dallas, Texas as part of the Patriot Cup will air on ESPNU.
 
St. John’s will also carry contests for men’s lacrosse, softball and baseball on the ESPN3 platform through St. John’s TV. The Red Storm’s ESPN3 schedule has yet to be announced.
 
As other conference’s release their television schedules, additional televised games may be added.
