NEW YORK -- This Week In The BIG EAST Radio Show, distributed by Westwood One, is back for another season with hosts John Rooke and Kevin McNamara. Episode two of This Week In The BIG EAST (#TWITBE), launched on Jan. 6, with guests Xavier head coach Chris Mack, Seton Hal junior guard Khadeen Carrington and long time voice of the Georgetown Hoyas Rich Chvotkin.

The hosts for This Week In The BIG EAST are John Rooke, a well-known BIG EAST play-by-play voice for 29 years and Kevin McNamara, who has covered the BIG EAST for 27 seasons at the
Providence Journal and is a columnist for
Basketball Times. Rooke and McNamara give a comprehensive look at the teams, coaches, players and storied tradition of the top basketball conference in America in each episode.
The episode's "Who's Hot" segment features audio clips from some recent big performances around the league and a recap of the league's weekly honors.
The BIG EAST Spotlight shines on Mack who gives the non-conference round up for Xavier as his standout trio of J.P. Macura, Trevon Bluiett and Edmond Sumner helped the Musketeers to a 12-2 record and a top 16 national ranking. The BIG EAST focus is on Carrington, who averages 19.3 points per game for the Seton Hall Pirates, the defending BIG EAST tournament champions. Chvotkin, who has had 43 years of experience calling BIG EAST basketball as the voice of the Georgetown Hoyas, gives the national perspective as well as an inside look at Georgetown and how they look to improve as the season progresses.
