Seton Hall and Georgetown recorded Saturday victories to improve the BIG EAST non-conference record to 100-23 (.813), the best mark since 1988-89.  Only three non-league games remain.

BIG EAST teams play their conference openers on Dec. 27-28.

No. 23 Seton Hall (11-2) built a 49-27 lead by halftime of its game against Manhattan and led by as many as 25 points in a 74-62 victory at Prudential Center.  All five starters reached double figures led by 15 points from Angel Delgado and Khadeen Carrington.  Delgado also grabbed 18 rebounds for his 59th career double-double, which leads all active players nationally.  Seton Hall (11-2) starts BIG EAST play at home against Creighton on Dec. 28.

Georgetown dispatched Alabama A&M 89-49 at Capital One Arena.  Freshman Antwan Walker, who did not play in the previous game, scored a team-high 16 points in only 15 minutes.  Another freshman, Jahvon Blair, added 13 points.  Jessie Govan leads the BIG EAST in rebounding with a 12.1 average.  The Hoyas (10-1) open league play at home against Butler on Dec. 27.

In addition to Georgetown-Butler on Dec. 27, Villanova visits DePaul and Marquette hosts Xavier.
