Butler (6-4) opened the game on an 11-0 scoring run and would never look back as they were able to secure their sixth win of the season and remain undefeated at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Tori Schickel recorded her sixth double-double with a team-high 19 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Kristen Spolyar was also a huge factor in the outcome by scoring nine of her 14 points in the fourth quarter.

Rutgers 70, Seton Hall 45
Seton Hall (6-2) couldn't overcome a cold shooting day against a stingy Rutgers (9-2) defense and fell by a score of 70-45 on Friday afternoon at the Rutgers Athletic Center. Donnaizha Fountain finished with a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double in the setback. Down by eight at the half, the Pirates used a strong start to the third quarter to pull back within a possession and trailed 34-32 with 3:32 to play in the frame. The Scarlet Knights responded emphatically, scoring the final seven points of the quarter to take a nine-point lead to the fourth. RU continued its run into the fourth, scoring the first nine of the final frame to swell its lead to 18. RU would go on to score 29 in the fourth quarter after scoring only 34 over the first 27 minutes of action.

DePaul's leading scorer in this showdown televised nationally by FS1 was Amarah Coleman with 16 points. Tanita Allen added 11 points. Coach Doug Bruno reprised his strategy from two years ago using a hockey line-change format, substituting five players at a time to keep his team fresh. The Huskies shot .594 from the field while limiting the Blue Demons to a .303 clip. DePaul’s defense forced 24 UConn turnovers, the Huskies’ most since Nov. 19 against then-No. 15/13 Maryland.
