Just over halfway through conference play, the BIG EAST Spotlight shines on Wright as Rooke and McNamara discuss the Wildcats’ excellent first half of conference play and the dramatic 61-59 buzzer beating win against Virginia last weekend. Wright touches on what it has been like taking the floor as the defending National Champions. The BIG EAST focus is on the Friar junior who is averaging 10.7 points and 6.8 assists for Providence. Cartwright explains what it has been like following in the footsteps of Kris Dunn.  The national perspective comes from O’Neil, who discusses her newly-released book, “Long Shots: Jay Wright, Villanova, and College Basketball’s Most Unlikely Champion.”
