BIG EAST Player of the Week
Destini Peck, Seton Hall, So., C
Batting .600 in 10–plate appearances, Peck recorded seven RBI and six hits to guide Seton Hall to a perfect 4-0 mark in its Inaugural Pirate Invitational. Matching up against Brown, Iona, Saint Peter’s and Hartford, the sophomore recorded three extra-base hits, three walks and a .900 slugging percentage. Defensively, the catcher collected 15 putouts.

BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week
Madison Strunk, Seton Hall, Fr.
In her third game of the season, the hurler helped the Pirates concluded their successful  run at the Inaugural Pirate Invitational with an 8-0 victory in five innings over Hartford. Recording a perfect 0.00 ERA, Strunk did not relinquish any walks while only giving up three hits. She finished the game with three strikeouts.

Weekly Honor Roll
Ashley Cantu, Creighton, Fr., OF
Extending to an eight-game hitting streak at the Hawkeye Invitational, the rookie became the first Creighton lead-off hitter to open the game with a home run since Ellen Homan in 2014. She rounded out the weekend with seven hits and seven runs.
Sarah Bennett, Georgetown, So., C/1B
Batting .375, Bennett paced the Hoyas to a 3-2 mark at the Lafayette Ford Lincoln of Fayetteville Showcase with eight RBI and six hits, including her second homerun of the season.
Savannah Warren, St. John’s, Jr., INF/C
Warren gave St. John’s the winning edge in its 9-7 win over Radford with her second-career grand slam in the third inning. Overall, the junior batted .833 (5-for-6) with a home run, four RBIs and two runs scored in the Red Storm’s two games against Radford on Sunday.
Noel Lent, Seton Hall, Sr., OF
The senior collected five hits, five RBI and a .500 batting average over four games to help the Pirates to a 4-0 weekend at home this past weekend.
