NEW YORK – The 2017 BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament Presented by Jeep tips off Wednesday night for the 35th time at Madison Square Garden, the World’s Most Famous Arena. The first-round doubleheader starts at 7 p.m. ET.

In addition to live games on FOX Sports, the BIG EAST Tournament features wall-to-wall coverage on all different mediums, spanning all audiences and geography. See below for a comprehensive coverage outlook.

Where To Watch
•     Saturday’s championship game will air on FOX broadcast network at 5:30 p.m., for the second straight year. All other contests will air on FS1. All games can be found on the BIG EAST Channel on the FOX Sports GO app. Champcast?

•     After the winner has been crowned, the BIG EAST and FOX will have championship coverage from the final buzzer to the press conferences. FOX will have live postgame interviews with the winning coach and players. FS1 will carry the postgame show and awards ceremony, highlighted by the tournament’s most outstanding player, the Dave Gavitt Trophy winner.  After the celebration, the cutting of the nets will be on FOX Sports GO through the BIG EAST’s Facebook page. All press conferences throughout the tournament will also be on FSGO.

•     FOX Sports’ game coverage also includes the network’s first use of ‘Rail Cam,’ a robotic camera that runs on a track alongside the sideline, bringing viewers closer to the action. The 2017 BIG EAST Tournament is the first time outside of a NCAA Final Four telecast that this technology has been used in a college basketball game.

•     FOX Sports, through its FOX Sports Lab initiative, is teaming with New York-based live VR broadcasting company LiveLike to deliver the BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament in virtual reality through the FOX Sports VR app, beginning with four quarterfinal games on Thursday, March 9. With presenting sponsorship from Jeep,  the immersive, four-camera VR effort includes user-selected views, with two basket and two foul line cameras as well as original 360-degree tournament content, all managed from the FOX Sports VR app’s “Virtual Suite.” There also will be a live “director’s cut” which automatically moves viewer’s vantage points around the court to keep them on top of the action. After the game, viewers can tune in and watch a tournament highlight package where users can choose replays from multiple vantage points. For more info, click here.

•     The band, dance and cheer teams from Marquette, Seton Hall, Butler and the winners of the St. John’s-Georgetown game will be live nationally from FOX Plaza on FOX & Friends morning show from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

•     FOX 5 NY WNYW will have live hits on their morning show, Good Day New York on Thursday with an onsite “battle of the bands” from the Madison Square Garden floor featuring Butler and Creighton. From the Good Day studio, the cheer and dance teams of Butler, Creighton, Providence and the winner of the Xavier/DePaul match up will showcase their BIG EAST Tournament spirit.
