BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Luka Prpa, Marquette, Jr., M
Prpa picks up his second consecutive Offensive Player of the Week nod after providing some heroics on Saturday night at Valley Fields. Down 1-0 to Xavier midway through the second half, Prpa knotted the game in the 68
th minute before scoring the go-ahead goal nine minutes later. The junior moved into a tie for the lead in points in conference play with eight, and ranks second with three goals over six BIG EAST matches.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Patrick Seagrist, Marquette, Jr., D
Seagrist led a Marquette defense against Xavier which allowed just two shots on goal, as the Golden Eagles outshot the Musketeers 15-7 overall. The junior added a flare of offense as well, assisting on Luka Prpa’s game-winning goal in the 77
th minute. The win broke the Golden Eagles away from a three-way tie and into a solo spot in fourth place in the BIG EAST standings.
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Ethan Koehler, Georgetown, So., GK
Starting and appearing in just his second match of the season, Koehler made five saves in 90 minutes of work to keep Seton Hall off the board in the shutout victory. The Pirates took 14 shots on the night with Koehler denying all attempts to lead the Hoyas to crucial victory which bumped them into second place in the BIG EAST standings.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Logan Lee, Butler, Fr., M/F
Lee repeats as top rookie after another game-clutching performance. Lee scored with just nine seconds remaining in regulation at Villanova on Saturday to give Butler the 2-1 win and a pivotal three points in the BIG EAST standings. Both goals Lee has scored this season have been game winners, both coming in the final moments of a match. He also added a shot at No. 2 Indiana on Tuesday.

Achara, Georgetown, Jr., F
Achara scored a pair of goals against Seton Hall on Saturday, breaking into the scoring column in the seventh minute for the game winner, then adding an insurance score in the 61
st.
Paul Kruse, Creighton, Fr., GK
In a 1-1 week for the Bluejays, Kruse posted a 0.45 goals against average and .900 save percentage. The rookie picked up a 110-minute scoreless draw with BIG EAST foe Providence to remain in first place in the standings.
Zach El-Shafei, DePaul, Jr., M
El-Shafei got the Blue Demons on the board against St. John’s in the 78
th minute to knot the game a 1-1. The teams played to a 2-2 draw.
Colin Miller, Providence, R-Sr., GK
In a 1-1 week for the Friars, Miller posted a 0.45 goals against average and .833 save percentage, including a scoreless draw at No. 8 Creighton on Saturday. The tie kept PC in second place in the BIG EAST standings.
Matt Forster, St. John’s, Jr., M
After more than 61 minutes of scoreless play, Forster cracked the scoring column in the 62
nd minute to give the Red Storm a late lead against DePaul. The teams would play to a 2-2 draw.
