All three completed matches go into double overtime, while the Providence-UConn tilt was called in the 60th due to lightning.

Tuesday Night Recaps
Four non-conference men’s soccer matches were scheduled for Tuesday with three going into double-overtime and one called in the 60th minute. Multiple lightning delays with no end in sight forced the match between Providence and RV Connecticut to be halted with the Friars carrying a 1-0 lead. Butler and Xavier picked up draws in their high-scoring games, while No. 8 Creighton dropped a heartbreaker in the 105th minute to No. 5 Denver.

XAVIER 3, Santa Clara 3 (2ot)
Felix Boe-Tangen provided the equalizer in the 84th minute as Xavier rallied from a late deficit to force overtime and an eventual 3-3 draw on Tuesday night against Santa Clara at XU Soccer Complex. The result, which saw goals come from Simen Hestnes, Samson Sergi and Boe-Tangen, moved Xavier's home unbeaten streak to 13 straight matches as its season ledger went to 3-2-5 overall. Zachary Nelson made five saves in goal.

Captain Jared Timmer had both second-half goals for the visiting Bulldogs. Ryan Clark, making his first start of the season and the second of his Butler career, was strong in goal all night. He made nine saves on the night, including several diving stops to keep the Bulldogs in the match.

[5] Denver 1, [8] CREIGHTON 0 (2ot)
The top-10 showdown was played in front of over 3,000 fans at Morrison Stadium and despite Creighton outshooting Denver 25-8, the Bluejays were dealt the loss. Denver's Stefan DeLeone scored the golden goal during the 105th minute. Creighton attempted to clear a pass near its defensive endline, but the ball found the foot of DeLeone who placed the ball into the back of the net from about 10 yards out.  Paul Kruse had three saves for Creighton while Luke Haakenson posted a game-high four shots.
