Xavier 70, Tennessee Tech 60  
Sophomore forward A'riana Gray posted a career-high 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds - her second career double-double - to lead Xavier to a 70-60 win over Tennessee Tech on Sunday night. The Musketeers move to 2-0 on the year, while the Golden Eagles drop to 1-1. Trailing 20-17 after the first quarter, XU outscored the Golden Eagles in the next three frames to pull away. Xavier shot .455 on the night and won the battle on the boards, 40-37.

Seton Hall 84, UTSA 53 | Seton Hall 102, Kennesaw State 80  
The Pirates (3-0) roared out to a huge early lead and never looked back, dominating UTSA (1-2) in an 84-53 victory on Sunday afternoon at historic Walsh Gymnasium. The contest marked the finale of the first Seton Hall Tip-Off Tournament. Shadeen Samuels led the big day for the Pirate offense with a game-high 23 points, needing only 18 minutes of action to set a new career-high in scoring. For her efforts, Samuels was named the Tip-Off Tournament MVP. Femi Funeus led the way for the Pirates on Saturday against Kennesaw State, as the freshman scored 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds in a breakout performance. Inja Butina and Kaela Hilaire added 15 and 13 points, respectively, and each dished out six assists while Samuels just missed a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. The Pirates connected on 50.8 percent of their field goals and knocked down nine 3-pointers in the victory, scoring more than 23 points in all four quarters.

#19/19 Marquette 102, UNI 61  
For the second straight game the Golden Eagles had six players in double figures as Allazia Blockton led all scorers with 22 points in a 102-61 victory over Northern Iowa on Sunday afternoon in the Preseason WNIT quarterfinals. Along with Blockton, Erika Davenport poured in 18 points, Amani Wilborn had 14, Danielle King connected for 13 and freshman Chloe Marotta tallied a career-high 11 points for the Golden Eagles (3-0). Natisha Hiedeman added 10 points and dished out a career-high 10 assists in the victory, tallying the first Marquette double-double of the season. For the third time in as many games Marquette dished out over 20 assists, handing out 22 against UNI (1-1), while forcing 25 turnovers. The Golden Eagles led from opening tip and ran out to a 30-12 advantage after one quarter, the most points the squad has scored in a single frame this season. They advance to the WNIT Semifinals at No. 25/24 Miami on Thursday.
