Georgetown’s Dionna White leads in a wild comeback win over Xavier with stat sheet-stuffing performance.

Dionna White, Georgetown, Sr., G
White led the Hoyas in a come-from-behind win over Xavier on Saturday, totaling 24 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Georgetown found itself in a 16-point deficit before White reeled off 16 second-half points, including 14 in the third quarter when GU took its first lead of the game and never looked back. White’s double-double is her fifth of the year, while her seven dimes are a season best. She recorded four or more steals for the fourth time this season.

Sonya Morris, DePaul, Fr., G
No. 19/20 DePaul boasted the top two rookie scorers last week as both Morris and Lexi Held scored 10 points in Saturday’s setback to Creighton. Morris added two assists and shot 4-of-5 from the field, including 2-for-2 from deep, with her 80-percent shooting clip the second-best among all BIG EAST players this weekend. Morris scored seven straight points to open the second quarter as the Blue Demons erased a double-digit deficit to take the lead into halftime. She’s reached double-figure points in back-to-back games.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Brooke Kissinger, Creighton, Sr., G
Kissinger entered Saturday’s game at No. 19/20 DePaul with 19 points on the season and erupted for 20 points on the night as the Bluejays defeated the Blue Demons in Chicago for the first time. Kissinger made 7-of-8 attempts from the field, including 6-of-7 from deep, to post the game-high tally. She added two steals in 18 minutes of work.
Erika Davenport, Marquette, Sr., F
Davenport posted her second consecutive double-double with 19 points and career-high 20 rebounds in the nationally ranked Golden Eagles’ emphatic win over Providence. She added four assists and four steals against the Friars.
Inja Butina, Seton Hall, Sr., G
Butina led the Pirates in a win over rival St. John’s on Sunday, matching the game highs of 19 points and five assists, while adding four steals. She shot 3-of-5 from deep.
Tori Schickel, Butler, Sr., F/C
Schickel led the Bulldogs to an impressive win in a nationally televised tilt at Villanova on Saturday, posting game highs of 22 points and nine rebounds. She made 10-of-15 attempts from the field as Butler improved to a BIG EAST-best 11-1 on the year. Schickel scored eight of her 22 in the fourth quarter as BU outscored VU 20-8 in the decisive frame.   
Adrianna Hahn, Villanova, Sr., G
Hahn scored a team-high 16 points while posting game highs of six assists and five steals in the Wildcats’ single-digit setback to Butler on Saturday.
