Borizillo sparked the Bearcats to a 2-0 weekend by totaling 12 points off seven goals and five assists, while adding three ground balls and a caused turnover. The sophomore had the eighth-highest scoring output in Cincinnati history with seven points off five goals and two dishes in Friday’s win at Gardner-Webb. She followed that with two goals and three assists in Sunday’s win over Winthrop. Despite being a sophomore, Borzillo already ranks eighth all-time in scoring in UC history.
BIG EAST Midfielder Of The Week
Sydney Pirreca, Florida, Jr., M
Pirreca helped No. 3 Florida take reigning national champion No. 1 Maryland to the brink in Gainesville on Saturday with eight points off six goals and two assists. The midfielder added seven draw controls against the Terps. Pirreca scored the game’s first goal before the Gators added another to lead 2-0 early, marking the first time UF has ever held a lead against Maryland in the four-game series between the teams. Pirreca’s eight points are the most by a Florida player since 2015.
BIG EAST Defensive Player Of The Week
Carson Gregg, Denver, Jr., GK
Gregg repeats as the BIG EAST’s top defensive player after holding RV Louisville to just five goals in Saturday’s win against the Cardinals. The junior denied 10 shots in 60 minutes of action for a .667 save percentage, while adding a pair of ground balls. Through two games, Gregg boasts the top goals against average (7.00) and save percentage (.650) in the BIG EAST among starting goalkeepers.

Gabrielle Fornia, Vanderbilt, Fr., A
In the Commodores’ win over Fresno State on Monday, Fornia totaled two goals, two assists and a caused turnover, with one of her scores being the game winner. Through two games for Vanderbilt, Fornia boasts a team-high five assists.

Nicole Barretta, Temple, Sr., A
The Owls went 1-1 last week with Barretta’s outings highlighted by a seven-goal performance in Wednesday’s 18-7 win at Monmouth. The senior also notched a goal and assist in Saturday’s setback against a nationally ranked Princeton squad.
Riley Hill, Marquette, Sr., A
Hill tied for the team lead with 10 points on five goals and five assists as Marquette went 2-0 at home over the weekend. The senior fell one assist shy of her career high when she tallied four helpers to go along with two goals in a 19-7 win over Central Michigan, before adding her fourth career hat trick with three goals and an assist in Sunday’s win over Kennesaw State.
Grace Nolan, Connecticut, Sr., A
In a 1-1 week for the Huskies, Nolan totaled nine points off six goals and three assists, including a four-goal, one-assist performance against No. 16/8 James Madison on Sunday.
