NEW YORK – The Empire State Building, an icon of New York City, will shine its world-famous tour lights in the colors of Providence and Villanova, in honor of the BIG EAST Basketball Tournament final on Saturday night. The lights will start the night in a combination of the white and black lights for the Friars and light blue, white and blue for the Wildcats.
 
At 6:30 p.m. the BIG EAST Championship final will tip off on FOX as the BIG EAST Championship semifinal winners square off. When the final buzzer sounds and the confetti falls, the Empire State Building’s lights will glow in the winning team’s colors.
 
The BIG EAST Conference has been an Empire State Building Lighting Partner six of the last seven years.
