Midfielder of the Week Shannon Kavanagh scored six points to lead No. 6/6 Florida over No. 24 Georgetown.

BIG EAST Attacker Of The Week
Cate Soccodato, Marquette, Jr., A
Soccodato scored a career-high five goals to lead Marquette to a win at Villanova and remain unbeaten in BIG EAST play (2-0). The junior added an assist to give her two straight games with at least six points. Trailing, 8-7, at halftime, Soccodato scored four times in the second half, including three scores during the team’s 7-0 run that erased the deficit. She scored on all five shots she took on the afternoon, with her score with 19:46 remaining proving to be the game winner.
 
BIG EAST Midfielder Of The Week
Shannon Kavanagh, Florida, Fr., M
Kavanagh had a career-best outing on the road against No. 24 Georgetown, tallying a career-high six points off of three goals and three assists (career-high) to lead the Gators to a come-from-behind victory. The freshman assisted on the game-tying goal to Grace Haus with 13:10 left in the game. Kavanagh tied her career-high with three ground balls in UF’s close loss to No. 14 Towson, while adding one goal and two draw controls.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player Of The Week
Carson Gregg, Denver, So., GK
Gregg helped hold Connecticut to its lowest scoring output of the season of the season as Denver scored a 13-5 win. The Huskies were just 2-of-7 on free-position attempts as Gregg made 11 saves on 24 shots faced. Over the final 30 minutes, the sophomore surrendered just one goal to finish with a .688 save percentage. She added three ground balls and one caused turnover.
 
BIG EAST Freshman Of The Week
Quintin Hoch-Bullen, Denver, Fr., A
Hoch-Bullen had a team-, game- and season-high five goals and six points in the Saturday’s win at UConn. The rookie was 2-for-4 on free-position shots and finished with 12 total shots on the afternoon. She enters the third week of BIG EAST play with three consecutive hat tricks.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Nicole Latgis, Temple, Sr., D
Latgis marked Cincinnati’s leading scorer Monica Borzillo in Saturday’s double-overtime win. Borzillo entered the game with 25 goals and was held scoreless as Latgis recorded a game-high four caused turnovers and a team-best three ground balls.
Ashley Lynch, Villanova, So., A
Lynch totaled six points off four goals and an assist, including a 2-for-2 clip in free-position attempts, in the Wildcats’ setback to Marquette. The sophomore scored on 4-of-5 shots and committed just one turnover.
Kayla Peterson, Vanderbilt, Sr., A
Peterson helped the Commodores pick up their first BIG EAST win with six points off five goals and an assist, two draw controls and two ground balls in Sunday’s win at Butler. Peterson scored her second goal of the afternoon just over 10 minutes into the contest, marking her 100th career point.
