NEW YORK – The 2018 BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament Presented by Jeep tips off Wednesday night for the 36th time at Madison Square Garden, the World’s Most Famous Arena. The first-round doubleheader starts at 7 p.m. ET.
 
In addition to live games on FOX Sports, the BIG EAST Tournament features wall-to-wall coverage on all different mediums, spanning all audiences and geography. See below for a comprehensive coverage outlook.
 
Where To Watch
•     Saturday’s championship game will air on FOX broadcast network at 6:30 p.m., for the third straight year. All other contests will air on FS1. All games can be found on the BIG EAST Channel on the FOX Sports GO app.
 
•     After the winner has been crowned, the BIG EAST and FOX will have championship coverage from the final buzzer to the press conferences. FOX will have live postgame interviews with the winning coach and players. FS1 will carry the postgame show and awards ceremony, highlighted by the tournament’s most outstanding player, the Dave Gavitt Trophy winner.  After the celebration, the cutting of the nets will be on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) presented by SoFi on the FOX Sports GO  app. All postgame press conferences throughout the tournament will be live on BEDN, then archived on the BIG EAST’s YouTube Channel.
 
•     FOX Sports’ game coverage also includes the network’s use of Rail Cam, a robotic camera that runs on a track alongside the sideline, bringing viewers closer to the action. The 2017 BIG EAST Tournament was the first time outside of a NCAA Final Four telecast that this technology was used in a college basketball game.
 
•     FOX 5 NY WNYW will have live hits on their morning show, Good Day New York on Thursday with an onsite “battle of the bands” from the Madison Square Garden floor featuring Xavier and Creighton. FOX 5 will have live hits all week from the tournament with host Tina Cervasio.
 
•     BIG EAST Shootaround will start tournament coverage with the live awards press conference on Wednesday, March 7. Shootaround with hosts John Fanta and Jay Alter will bring a live tournament preview starting at 4 p.m. ET along with interviews of the winners of the BIG EAST Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year presented by SUNKIST. Shootaround will have live shows on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m. with previews and special guests. Shootaround will be the official pregame show for FOX on Championship Saturday. Tournament coverage on Shootaround continues on NCAA Selection Sunday, March 11 with Skype interviews with players and coaches from selected teams. FOX Sports talent will also Skype in for analysis. Shootaround will air on the BIG EAST Twitter (@BIGEASTmbb) via Periscope, the BIG EAST Facebook (/bigeast conference) and FOXSports GO.
 
•     For the first time, the Armed Forces Network will air the semifinals and the championship game on their networks so U.S. troops in the field will be able to watch their favorite BIG EAST teams in action. The AFN sports network will air the games live on semifinal Friday. Championship Saturday will be on delay on Sunday, March 11 at 12:30 p.m. which is Afghan Time on AFN sports 2.
 
On the Airwaves
•     Sirius XM radio will air the BIG EAST Tournament semifinals and finals with the Westwood One broadcast. The Westwood One broadcast will be on regular radio stations across the country, on the TuneIn mobile app, streamed live for free at westwoodonesports.com and on Sirius XM channels 83 (semifinals) and 84 (championship game).
 
•     The This Week In The BIG EAST radio show with Kevin McNamara and John Rooke will hit the iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, Sirius XM and Westwood One airwaves on semifinal Friday. Tweet at #TWITBE for questions for McNamara and Rooke. Download past episodes on iTunes.

•     Back for 2018 is the #BEtourney In A Minute hosted and created by the BIG EAST Digital Network correspondents. The Minute, which can be views across all BIG EAST Social Media accounts and the BIG EAST You Tube Channel will feature highlights, recaps and postgame press coverage. Videos will be posted nightly from the BIG EAST Social Hub Presented by Sunkist which will also be streamed on Facebook Live and Periscope
 
•     On Friday of the tournament, the BIG EAST will be taking over the NCAA March Madness Snapchat story. On Thursday, the BIG EAST will also be contributing to the NCAA March Madness Instagram story.  
 
•     The official BIG EAST social accounts are: Twitter (@BIGEASTmbb, @BIGEAST), Facebook (/bigeastconference),  Snapchat and Instagram (@bigeastconf). New this year is a twitter emoji hashtag. Tweet #BEtourney or #BIGEASThoops to view and use.
