In singles action, courts two, three and four finished in straight-set victories, favoring the Golden Eagles, with Natalija Popovic, Fleur Eggink and Novakovic securing the shutout.

In the 2-7 matchup, Creighton and DePaul found themselves in a dog fight during doubles action, with DePaul taking a victory on court three and Creighton evening the match with a win at No. 2 doubles. With all eyes turned to court one, the Bluejays' duo of Ashley Ishimura and Michaela Henne earned a 7-6 (3) tiebreaker over Keisha Clousing and Patricia Lancranjan to head into singles play holding the 1-point advantage.

Trailing by one, DePaul rounded out four consecutive straight-set victories to advance to Saturday's semifinal matchup against Marquette, scheduled to hit off at 9 a.m.

In the top-half of the bracket, the top-ranked Johnnies edged out No. 9 Georgetown 4-2 to advance to the semifinals.
After dropping the doubles-point, Georgetown quickly evened the match at No. 6 singles, when Sydney Goodson defeated Kajsa Stegrell 6-0, 6-2.
