Play Ball! Butler and Creighton Agree to Play at SIUE
SERIES UPDATE!
Omaha, Neb. -- Thanks to intense work from both Creighton head coach Ed Servais, Butler head coach Dave Schrage and the administrations of both Butler and Creighton Athletics, the baseball squads will be playing two games this weekend at SIUE.
After snow on Friday and forecast for more snow on Sunday washed out the Bluejays chance to host the scheduled BIG EAST opening series with the Bulldogs the series was initially canceled.
Rather than rest on their laurels both Servais and Schrage worked their phones and found a new home for the series.
The two sides will play single games on Saturday and Sunday. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. ET and 2 p.m. respectively.
