NEW YORK – The BIG EAST announced its fall lineup for the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi (BEDN) on Thursday featuring 86 regular-season contests and postseason coverage across five sports: men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball, field hockey and cross country.
 
Regular-season programming for the 2018-19 season once again includes nearly 225 events across all Olympic Sports and Women’s Basketball. BEDN will also cover all BIG EAST Olympic Sports Championships, which are presented by Jeep.
 
In addition to live coverage, @BIGEASTdigital Twitter, BIG EAST YouTube and Facebook will carry highlights, teasers, original programming and news from BIG EAST Digital Network correspondents, complimenting content on BIGEAST.com. Tune in weekly on those platforms for the Olympic Sports Update, featuring interviews with players, coaches and special guests as well as recaps of the top storylines from around the conference.
 
BEDN coverage starts the week of Aug. 20 as women’s soccer live coverage will include a number of key non-conference matchups. Additionally, women’s soccer coverage will include a full slate of games to cover opening weekend of BIG EAST play and the following weekend, as well as the final three game dates for the season as tournament seeding is at play.  The BIG EAST Championship coverage begins with First Round games on Sunday, Oct. 28 and the Semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 1. The women’s soccer championship final will air on FS1 at 1 p.m. ET.
 
BEDN men’s soccer coverage kicks off the weekend of Sept. 14 and concludes Nov. 3 and Nov. 7 with the BIG EAST Championship First Round and Semifinals. The championship final will air on FS2 on at 2 p.m. ET Sunday, Nov. 11. Men’s soccer regular-season coverage includes the first full Saturday of league play and complete coverage for the final four game dates. 
 
BIG EAST volleyball coverage will start Friday, Sept. 21 with 15 regular-season games and the BIG EAST Championship Semifinals on Friday, Nov. 23. BEDN will have full coverage of the final weekend of regular-season action featuring five games on Friday, Nov. 16. The Volleyball Championship Final will air on FS2 on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. ET.
 
Field hockey regular-season coverage will feature Georgetown at Liberty on Friday, Oct. 12 in a league matchup at the site of the 2018 BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship, Liberty’s Field Hockey Field in Lynchburg, Va. BEDN will cover both the Semifinals and Final of the field hockey championship, Nov. 2 and Nov. 4.
 
BEDN will also provide coverage of the Cross Country Championships, which will be held at Northview Church in Indianapolis, Ind., on Saturday, Oct. 27.
 
BEDN, launched in September 2014, is its own dedicated channel within the FOX Sports app, the mobile app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or on-the-go. Streaming on the FOX Sports app is now available on several connected devices, including Apple TV, Roku and Chromecast. Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store.  In addition, FOX Sports also encompasses FOX Sports Digital, including http://FOXSports.com and the FOX Sports app, which provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content, with instant scores, the latest stats and real-time alerts available to iOS and Android devices.
   
The women’s basketball, winter and spring BEDN schedules will be released at a later date.
