No. 10 Georgetown set for top-25 matchup with No. 25 Princeton, while DePaul makes BEDN debut against Alabama.

WSOC Notes - 9.11.18
In The Polls

For the third consecutive week, two BIG EAST teams are in the top 25. Despite a combined 3-0 record last week, both Georgetown and Butler lost some ground in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, with the Hoyas falling two spots to No. 10 and the Bulldogs dropping one to No. 23. The three-week stretch of having multiple teams in the top-25 is the longest for the BIG EAST since 2013, when Marquette and Georgetown were both ranked in the top 25 for the final five weeks of the season.

Last Night In #BIGEASTwsoc – UMKC 4, Creighton 1
The Roos jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, scoring twice in the first nine minutes to set the tone. CU’s Cassie Legband cut the lead in half in the 30th minute with her first goal of the season, but UMKC responded by scoring two more goals. Creighton closed out the scoring with Kylin Grubb’s first goal of the year in the 89th minute. Katie Sullivan had five saves for the Bluejays, who fell to 3-4-0 on the season.

Week Ahead
Four opponents on this week’s schedule are either ranked or receiving votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll, highlighted by Friday’s top-25 showdown between No. 10 Georgetown and No. 25 Princeton. On Friday, Creighton, which has won two of its last three, welcomes No. 20 Oklahoma State to Morrison Stadium at 8 p.m., while Marquette will look to make it two wins in a row when it hosts RV BYU at 8 p.m. The BIG EAST Digital Network returns on Sunday when DePaul hosts Alabama at 2 p.m. ET.
