BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week
Chris Yeom, Sr., Seton Hall – Yeom broke the Seton Hall two-round school record at the Hartford Hawks Invitational.  The senior shot an eight-under-par 136 (67-69), which broke former teammate Lloyd Jefferson Go’s two-round, par-72 school record by two strokes.  Yeom’s score tied for second place in the tournament, one stroke behind the winner.  Yeom recorded his seventh career sub-par tournament, which tied for third on the school’s all-time list.  It was also his fifth career top-5 finish.  The Pirates finished third in the 20-team field at 12-under-par 564 (282, 282)

BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week
Rachel Grenko, Sr., Creighton – Grenko’s performance at the Loyola Fall Invitational in Flossmoor, Ill., included a hole-in-one on a 150-yard second hole in the first round, the first ace by a Bluejay since 2008.  The senior finished tied for 15th among 72 competitors with three straight rounds of 79.  Her 15th-place finish was the highest in her Bluejay career.  Creighton took fourth place among 12 teams.

Men’s Notes – Matt Murlick of Marquette shot an even-par 216 (71-72-73) to tie for fourth place and give the Golden Eagles their first win of the season and second straight victory at the Northern Intercollegiate in Sugar Grove, Ill.  Murlick’s 71 (-1) in the first round helped Marquette build a seven-stroke cushion and his final-round 73 was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 18th hole which helped push Marquette ahead of runner-up Notre Dame.  The 14-team field also included four 2018 NCAA teams – Missouri, Coastal Carolina, UMKC and Augusta…In his collegiate debut, freshman Campbell Wolf of DePaul finished in a tie for 13th at the EKU Intercollegiate.  His carded a 54-hole total of 214 (+4) that included an even-par 70 in the final round…Creighton’s Brad Keyer started his fall season with a tie for fifth place among 74 golfers at the Crusader Collegiate hosted by Valparaiso.  The junior followed an opening-round 73 with consecutive 72s for a 217 total, one over par.
