St. John's extended its unbeaten streak to three on Tuesday night, topping Mount St. Mary's at a rain-soaked Belson Stadium. Matt Forster put forth another tremendous effort for the Red Storm (5-3-1, 1-0-1 BIG EAST), registering the game-winning goal in the 78th minute after assisting on the team's opening tally in the 23rd. Forster is now tied for the league lead in goals with five on the season, while his 13 points are also good enough for tops in the BIG EAST. Tyron Matuta needed to make to just one save to earn his second victory of the season in goal.

#9 Creighton 2, Jacksonville 1
Sven Koenig scored two second-half goals No. 9 Creighton extended its winning streak to five matches with a 2-1 victory against Jacksonville on Tuesday night at Morrison Stadium. The Bluejays improved to 6-1-1 overall, while the Dolphins dropped to 1-8-0. After a scoreless first half, Koenig tallied goals during the 59th and 71st minutes and propelled Creighton to a 2-0 lead. Creighton ended the match with a 23-5 advantage in shots. Paul Kruse made a pair of saves during the Bluejays' fourth victory this season at Morrison Stadium (4-0-1).

#6 Louisville 2, RV Georgetown 1
Georgetown fell on a late goal to No. 6 Louisville Tuesday evening at Cooper Field. With the loss, the Hoyas drop to 5-3-1 overall with one nonconference game remaining. In the 82nd minute, a ball headed back to freshman goalkeeper Giannis Nikopolidis had too much on it and was out of his reach. The keeper dove for it, but it hit the foot of a charging Izaiah Jennings and bounced into the back of the net to put Louisville ahead, 2-1, playing a man down. The Hoyas outshot the Cardinals, 17-10, and took six corner kicks to Louisville's four. Nikopolidis took the loss with four saves in the net.

#20 Notre Dame 4, #22 Xavier 1
Xavier suffered its first loss of 2018, falling behind early in a tough 4-1 road outing at Notre Dame. The match was called after 72 minutes of play due to inclement weather in the South Bend area. The Musketeers missed on a few good scoring chances early and trailed by a pair at the break, but dented the scoreboard on a 59th minute goal by Matt Nance. Overall, the loss moved XU to 3-1-4 on the season and snapped a seven match unbeaten streak. XU was one of just 10 unbeaten teams left in the nation going into the match.
