Providence wins at Creighton in lone contest of the day, marking PC’s third straight BIG EAST victory.

Providence 77, Creighton 63
The Friars closed the first half of BIG EAST play with a win at Creighton for their third consecutive victory. Providence has won three-straight games in BIG EAST play for the first time since the 2001-02 season, and are in the midst of their best six-game stretch in BIG EAST action since 1997, when the squad also won five of six games. PC’s Jovana Nogic led all scorers with 18 points, draining 3-of-6 attempts from deep. Audrey Faber had 16 points and four blocks for the Bluejays. The Friars scored 24 points off 20 Creighton turnovers, while PC’s five miscues are its fewest since Feb. 11, 2004, when Villanova forced four Providence turnovers.
