Hiedeman was the BIG EAST’s top scorer last week as the nationally ranked Golden Eagles went 2-0 with wins over No. 24/24 DePaul and Creighton. Hiedeman’s week was highlighted by a 32-point night against the nationally ranked Blue Demons. The senior made 12-of-25 attempts from the field, including five three-pointers, while adding eight rebounds, six assists and six steals to lead MU in the title game rematch. The 32 points scored matched her career best and are the most scored by any BIG EAST player in a league game this year. For the week she averaged 24.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 4.0 steals.  
 
BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Freshman Of the Week
Mary Baskerville, Providence, Fr., F
Baskerville claims her second honor in three weeks. Over three games, the rookie averaged 8.7 points and 7.3 rebounds, shooting 12-of-18 from the field for a .667 clip despite playing just 18 minutes a game. Her shooting accuracy ranked third among all BIG EAST players last week while her rebounding mark listed ninth. Her week was led by a 17-point, seven-rebound, two-block outing in just 14 minutes of work at No. 24/24 DePaul on Monday. She grabbed a team-high nine boards against Georgetown on Friday and was 3-for-3 from the field with six rebounds in Sunday’s win over Villanova.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Kristen Spolyar, Butler, Jr., G
Butler’s historic run stretched through another 3-0 week as the Bulldogs improved to 14-1 on the year and 4-0 in BIG EAST play. Spolyar paced the Bulldogs with 13.7 points and 6.7 rebounds, highlighted by a 23-point, six-rebound outing in Sunday’s win over visiting St. John’s.
Audrey Faber, Creighton, Sr., F
Faber remained the BIG EAST’s top scorer on the season after averaging 19.3 points over three games last week. She ended the week with back-to-back 20-point outings, including a game-high 24 point afternoon in Sunday’s win over Georgetown. She added 4.3 assists and shot 60 percent from the field.
Mart’e Grays, DePaul, Sr., F
Grays posted back-to-back double-doubles in a 1-1 week for the Blue Demons, averaging 21.0 points and 12.0 rebounds. She went for 19 points and 14 boards in Monday’s win over Providence before totaling 23 points, 10 boards in Friday’s setback at No. 20/16 Marquette.
A’riana Gray, Xavier, So., F
Gray grabbed the most rebounds in a BIG EAST contest since 2010 when she hauled in 22 boards in Sunday’s win over Seton Hall. For the week, Gray averaged a double-double of 14.2 points and 12.0 rebounds, shooting .552 from the floor.
Adrianna Hahn, Villanova, Sr., G
In a 2-1 week for the Wildcats, Hahn averaged 16.3 points and 3.7 rebounds, shooting .459 from the field and .429 from deep. She scored in double figures in all three games, including 19 points against Xavier on Monday and at Providence on Sunday.
