The No. 19 Old Dominion field hockey team (9-5, 5-1 BIG EAST) celebrated its Senior Day in style, winning its final home game of the season against Quinnipiac (3-13, 1-5 BIG EAST) in a 4-0 shutout.  Four different seniors scored the Monarch goals, as Alexandria Brewer, Jess Miller, Ashleigh Thomas and Erin Huffman each tickled the twine, making the program’s Senior Day that much more special. Old Dominion held the Bobcats to just two shots and kept them away from the penalty corner for the entire game. The Monarchs ended the game with 21 shots and a season-high 11 penalty corners. In goal, sophomore Cam MacGillivray posted her fourth shutout of the season, after only having to turn aside one shot on goal.

After a scoreless first quarter that featured three shots by each team, Providence finally got on the board in the second quarter at the 25:15 mark. Senior Mary O'Reilly found the back of the cage for her fourth goal of the season as she collected a rebound off the Hoyas' goalkeeper Ciara Weets. Providence added an insurance goal in the fourth quarter at 53:47 as sophomore Amanda Collins tipped in a feed from graduate student Corinne Kenney at the left post. It marked Collins' third goal of the season. Graduate student Lydia Rice recorded her fifth shutout victory of the season with five saves.

TEMPLE 3, VILLANOVA 0
Though the game was slow to start, the Owls controlled the ball for the majority of the game.  The Owls created several scoring chances, earning six penalty corners and two penalty strokes. Junior Dani Batze scored the eventual game-winner off a penalty corner, with Nienke Oerlemans giving the Owls the go-ahead before the first half came to a close.
