NEW YORK -The first Friday in November saw all 10 BIG EAST volleyball teams in action highlighted by four clean sweeps, a Butler five-set comeback in Chicago and Providence's first conference win of 2019.

Week 6 of conference action concludes on Sunday with five matches as No. 9 Creighton hosts Seton Hall, tenth-ranked Marquette travels to fourth-place Butler, Georgetown visits Villanova for a rematch of Friday night's match, Providence hosts St. John's, and DePaul visits Xavier for a tilt on the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi.

Villanova 3, Georgetown 0 (25-19,25-18,25-11)
The Wildcats (17-6, 8-3 BIG EAST) picked up its eighth win of the conference season with a clean sweep of host Georgetown (12-13, 2-9). VU posted its highest hitting percentage of the season at a .387 clip behind a balanced attack with Sophia Howling, Allie Olsonoski, and Mallory Potts sharing team-high seven kills. Emma Decker spread the wealth with 26 assists, six digs, and two service aces. Regan Lough paced the back line with match-high 11 digs. Elissa Barbosa led the Hoyas with seven kills while Jessica Cusi added nine digs.

Creighton 3, St. John's 0 (25-22,25-12,25-22)
No. 9 Creighton (18-3, 11-0) hit .356 as a team to push past St. John's (14-10, 6-5) and extend its home BIG EAST win streak to 42 matches. Jaela Zimmerman led Creighton with 13 kills in the match while Erica Kostelac and Keeley Davis chipped in with nine kills apiece. Naomi Hickman and Megan Ballenger controlled the net for the Bluejays with six and five blocks, respectively. Senior libero Brittany Witt collected a match-high 15 digs while setter Madelyn Cole registered a double-double with 33 assists to go with 11 digs. St. John's was led by sophomore Efrosini Alexakou with 13 kills and two service aces. Amanda Sanabia and Klara Mikelova paced the Red Storm the defense with eight digs apiece.

Marquette 3, Xavier 0 (25-21,25-16,25-20)
Tenth-ranked Marquette (20-3, 10-1) swept visiting Xavier (8-13, 5-6) on Friday night in its return to the Al McGuire Center. The Golden Eagles posted their 20th win of 2019 to earn its ninth-consecutive 20-win season. MU hit .398 as a team and was led by senior Allie Barber with 15 kills. Junior Hope Werch and sophomore Ellie Koontz each chipped in 11 kills as Werrch connected for a .381 clip and Koontz hit .500. Junior Martha Konovodoff collected a match-high 18 digs while setters Lauren Speckman and Sarah Rose dished out 23 and 21 assists, respectively. Xavier was led by Moriah Hopkins and MaryAnn O'Toole with seven kills each, while O'Toole and Madi Kutruff each collected 12 digs.

Providence 3, Seton Hall 0 (25-16,25-23,25-20)
Providence (6-18, 1-10) picked up its first conference win of the season with a sweep over visiting Seton Hall (7-18, 2-9). Addison Root led the Friars with nine kills on the match while Jenae Alderson and Brielle Mullally each recorded eight kills. Setter Allison Barber posted her 19th double-double of the season with 25 assists and 13 digs. Four Friars finished with double-digit digs as Barber, Alderson and Root posted 13 digs while Mackenzie Taylor chipped in 10. PC posted a total of 14 blocks and held the Pirates to a .097 hitting percentage on the night. Haylee Gasser and Amanda Rachwal paced the Pirates attack with 12 kills apiece while Raygan Murray tallied a match-high 20 digs. Setter Maggie Cvelbar recorded another double-double with 31 assists and 11 digs.

Butler 3, DePaul 2 (23-25,22-25,25-22,25-18,15-8)
Butler (10-13, 7-4) completed the reverse sweep of DePaul (11-12, 3-8) on Friday night at McGrath-Phillips Arena. The Blue Demons captured the first two sets before the Bulldogs stormed back to claim the match with sets three, four, and five. Melody Davidson controlled the net for the Bulldogs with 13 kills and six blocks, while senior Anna Logan neared a double-double performance with 11 kills and nine digs. Brooke Gregory bolstered the BU attack with 11 kills and three blocks. Megan Ramseyer dished out 29 assists while Elizabeth LaBue led the back line with 20 digs. DePaul was led by Brittany Maxwell with 15 kills while junior Emma Price added 14. Isabelle Banez led all players with 24 digs on the match,
