Marquette, Providence, Butler pick up midweek wins with two more games on deck Thursday.

Midweek Round-Up
BIG EAST teams combined for a 3-1 record on Tuesday and Wednesday nights as Marquette scored a notable road win and Providence and Butler remained undefeated on the year. Two more contests are on the docket tonight before a busy weekend arrives, as Georgetown and Villanova look to pick up their second straight wins with home games against -/RV James Madison and Manhattan, respectively. Both tipoff at 7 p.m. ET.
 
Providence 68, Monmouth 52
Providence (4-0) claimed its third road win and fourth victory overall with a 68-52 triumph Wednesday night at Monmouth. Kyra Spiwak led the Friars with a career-high 22 points, shooting 5-for-7 from long range. Olivia Orlando turned in an all-around performance with eight points, 10 rebounds, four steals and four assists in 30 minutes of action. Providence converted on 45.8 percent of their field goal attempts and 45 percent from long range. The Friars lead the BIG EAST in both categories through their first four contests.
 
Butler 64, IUPUI 61
Butler outscored IUPUI 17-11 in the final frame to push past the visiting Jaguars 64-61 Wednesday night and move to 4-0 on the season. Genesis Parker was a bright spot for the Bulldogs as the junior exploded for a team-high 23 points, converting on 6-of-7 attempts from beyond the arc. Freshman Oumou Toure stuffed the stat sheet with seven points, five rebounds, five steals and two blocks. The Bulldogs shot 44.9 percent from the field and 52.6 percent from 3-point range, connecting on 10 of 19 attempts.
 
Marquette 60, Green Bay 47
Marquette topped Green Bay 60-47 on Tuesday night to pick up its fourth win of the season behind a complete defensive effort, holding the Phoenix well-under their season scoring average. The Golden Eagles had four players in double-figures for the second time this season as Selena Lott led with 18 points while Isabelle Spingola tallied 15. Jordan King and Lauren Van Kleunen recorded 11 and 10 points, respectively. MU combined to hit a season-best 11 three pointers as Spingola went 5-for-9 from behind the arc while Lott and King added three apiece from long range. Marquette (4-1) posted its first win at Green Bay since 2007 and its second straight victory in the series after notching a victory last year in Milwaukee.
 
Ball State 70, Xavier 49
Xavier closed out its three-game road swing with a 70-49 setback at Ball State on Wednesday afternoon. Aaliyah Dunham led the Musketeers in scoring with 10 points while adding three assists and three steals. Deja Ross crashed the boards to grab a team-high nine rebounds. Xavier (1-3) forced 20 turnovers and converted the miscues into 14 points.
