DePaul is 6-0 after Saturday’s 72-67 win at Boston College.  Charlie Moore led the offense with 24 points and eight assists.  He also made two 3-pointers in the final 1:16.  Romeo Weems added 17 points while Paul Reed chipped in 11 points.  Both players grabbed 10 rebounds. 

Seton Hall was sluggish out of the gate against visiting Florida A&M, but pulled away for an 87-51 victory.  Myles Powell scored 23 points and Quincy McKnight added 14 points.  The Pirate defense held the Rattlers to 29.3 percent shooting. 

Marquette also started a bit slow against Robert Morris, trailing 20-19 at halftime.  In the second half, the Golden Eagles got it going and prevailed 66-62.  Sacar Anim led MU with 14 points and six rebounds.  Markus Howard had 11 points.

St. John’s held a nine-point lead at halftime, but lost 80-67 to Arizona State in the Hall of Fame Classic in Uncasville, Ct.  L.J. Figueroa had a team-high 17 points and freshman Julian Champagnie contributed 15 points and seven boards. 

Providence dropped an 81-75 decision at home to Pennsylvania.  Maliek White notched a team-high 20 points and Alpha Diallo finished with 16 points and eight rebounds.  PC made only 10-of-20 from the foul line.  The Quakers shot 52.6 percent from the field.

Villanova and Xavier contend for tournament titles tonight.  The 17th-ranked Wildcats play No. 24 Baylor for the Myrtle Beach Classic championship at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN2.  At 8:30 p.m. on ESPN, No. 18 Xavier meets Florida for the Charleston Classic crown.  St. John’s plays Massachusetts in the Hall of Fame Classic at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

Creighton hosts North Florida at 2 p.m. on FS1 in a campus game as part of the Las Vegas Invitational.
