#BIGEASTswim Championships return to Nassau County Aquatic Center for the 14th time.

NEW YORK – All-session tickets for the 2020 BIG EAST Swimming & Diving Championships, presented by Jeep are now available for purchase. The championships, co-hosted by St. John’s, will be held Feb. 26-29 at the Nassau County Aquatic Center on Long Island, N.Y.

All-session tickets can be purchased for $40 for adults and $25 for seniors (65+) and children (17 and under). The all-session tickets are good for all seven sessions, Wednesday through Saturday. Click here to purchase tickets. Single-session tickets will go on sale at a later date.

This will be the 14th BIG EAST Championship held at the Nassau County Aquatic Center. The facility is widely recognized as one of the finest swimming facilities in the U.S., regularly hosting major swimming and diving competitions. The 80,000-square-foot center includes a “stretch” 50-meter pool that is 68 meters long, with three movable bulkheads. The pool setup varies, with 50-meter, 25-yard, and/or 25-meter lap lanes, depending on the pool setup. There is a diving well with a 10-meter competition diving tower — the only such tower in the New York metropolitan area — and 1- and 3-meter springboards. The seating area can accommodate up to 1,700 spectators.

In last year’s competition at Nassau County Aqautic Center, the Villanova women captured their sixth straight BIG EAST title with 1007.5 points. The Wildcats’ margin of victory was 345.5 points ahead of runners-up, Xavier with 662.0 points. On the men’s side, Xavier took home the crown for the fourth time in program history, totaling 779.5 points. Georgetown was second with 744.0 points.
