MBB Minute -- Marquette's Howard Sets NCAA Scoring Mark for Brothers
In Friday’s hard-earned 82-68 win over North Dakota State, Marquette’s Markus Howard scored 32 points and joined his brother Jordan to become the NCAA’s all-time scoring brother duo.
Markus and Jordan Howard, who played at Central Arkansas (2015-18), have scored a combined 4,738 points. The duo passed Stephen and Seth Curry (4,736 points).
In the game, Howard posted his fourth 30-point outing of the season for the Golden Eagles (9-2), who have won four in a row.
BIG EAST teams go into Saturday’s play with a combined record of 88-25 (.779).
Saturday’s schedule is full of quality intersectional matchups. In the afternoon, FOX is televising two contests in the BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle. At noon ET, Kansas plays Villanova at Wells Fargo Center and Providence hosts Texas at 2 p.m. Butler meets Purdue in the Crossroads Classic at 2:30 p.m. on BTN.
