Empire State Building Will Be Lit For BIG EAST Tournament Championship Teams On Saturday
NEW YORK – The Empire State Building, an icon of New York City, will shine its world-famous tour lights in the colors of Seton Hall and Villanova, in honor of the BIG EAST Basketball Tournament final on Saturday night. As night falls on the city, the western lights of the Empire State Building will glow light blue and navy blue for the Wildcats and blue and white for the Pirates.
At 6:30 p.m. the BIG EAST Championship final will tip off on FOX as the tournament semifinal winners square off. When the final buzzer sounds and the confetti falls, the Empire State Building’s lights will glow in the winning team’s colors.
The BIG EAST Conference has been an Empire State Building Lighting Partner seven of the last eight years.

Saturday is the second meeting between Villanova and Seton Hall in the BIG EAST championship game. Seton Hall won their prior meeting, 69-67 in 2016.
