NEW YORK—Marquette University women's basketball senior guard
Natisha Hiedeman has been named to the 2018-19 Women's AP All-America Honorable Mention team, it was announced on Monday.
Hiedeman is just the second AP All-America selection in Marquette program history after Krystal Ellis earned a spot on the honorable mention squad in 2007. Hiedeman compiled her finest season as a Golden Eagle named unanimous BIG EAST Player of the Year, unanimous All-BIG EAST First Team and BIG EAST All-Tournament team.
Hiedeman led the Golden Eagles with 17.6 points per game and set a record for most points scored by a senior in a season with 617 total and three-point field goals made with 93 in her final year. She reached a career-high 34 points against Seton Hall and reached double figure scoring in 30-of-34 games.
Hiedeman finishes her career ranked third all-time with 1,913 career points and is Marquette's all-time leader in three-point field goals made with 301.
