Nationally ranked Hoyas collect a trio of honors after earning a key victory over Villanova.

BIG EAST Attacker Of The Week
Morgan Ryan, Georgetown, Sr., A
Ryan scored six goals and added six draw controls and a ground ball in a 1-1 week for No. 24 Georgetown. The Hoyas won a crucial game at Villanova on Saturday in BIG EAST play, in which Ryan went for five goals off eight shots, along with four draws and ground ball. The senior scored four of the game’s first five goals as GU jumped out to a 5-0 lead, setting the tone early to pick up the 12-8 wire-to-wire win. She added a goal and two draws against then-No. 14/13 Navy on Wednesday.
 
BIG EAST Midfielder Of The Week
Francesca Whitehurst, Georgetown, Sr., M
Whitehurst stuffed the stat sheet in a 1-1 week for No. 24 Georgetown, tallying six points off three goals and three assists, along with 10 draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers. The senior had two points, seven draws, two caused turnovers and two ground balls in Saturday’s win at Villanova after going for four points (2g, 2a), three draws, two GB and one caused turnover in a setback to then-No. 14/13 Navy.  
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player Of The Week
Katie Hudson, Georgetown, Jr., D
Hudson led the BIG EAST in ground balls while tying for second in caused turnovers in a 1-1 week for No. 24 Georgetown. The junior had six ground balls and two caused turnovers while adding the game-winning goal in GU’s victory at Villanova on Saturday, after totaling four ground balls and two caused turnovers in a setback to then-No. 14/13 Navy on Wednesday.
 
BIG EAST Freshman Of The Week
Kailee Lammers, Denver, Fr., A
Lammers picks up her first weekly award of the season after going for three points off a goal and two assists, along with a ground ball in Saturday’s 16-5 win at Butler. The rookie took five shots on the afternoon, all landing on target. Both of her assists came in the first 13 minutes of the contest before adding a second-half insurance score as No. 15/15 Denver remained undefeated in BIG EAST play.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Megan Menzuber, Marquette, Jr., A
Menzuber helped the Golden Eagles pick up a big win at Old Dominion on Saturday with five points off four goals and an assist, along with a caused turnover and ground ball. All five of her shots were on target, scoring on four of them, to record her third hat trick of the season.
Katie Miller, Old Dominion, Sr., M
Miller led the BIG EAST in draw controls last week, totaling nine in a single game along with two ground balls and a caused turnover in Saturday’s home loss to Marquette. Led by Miller, ODU won the draw control battle 19-7 against MU.
Bea Behrins, Denver, So., A
Behrins recorded a game-high five points off four goals and an assist in Saturday’s win over Butler, with all six of her shots landing on target. Four of her points came in the first 18 minutes of the contest as Denver jumped out to a 12-1 lead by halftime to remain alone in first place in the BIG EAST standings.
