FOX Sports, the BIG EAST’s national media partner, is a major investor in Caffeine. Still in pre-release, Caffeine, features an expanding catalog of sports, gaming and esports content that is live streamed on the site. In addition to the website, Caffeine offers mobile apps that are available to download on App Store and Google Play.

Fans who follow the  BIG EAST Digital Network on Caffeine can receive push notifications when the content goes live. Additionally, the BIG EAST social platforms will promote tune-ins on the main @BIGEAST Twitter handle.

Caffeine carried BEDN’s spring 2019 championship events, which included women’s lacrosse, softball, outdoor track & field and baseball.

BEDN, launched in September 2014 as a streaming-only offering of 225 live regular season and championship events annually for the BIG EAST Conference, spanning women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, field hockey, men’s and women’s lacrosse, softball and baseball. Additionally, BEDN produces live championship coverage for indoor and outdoor track & field, men’s and women’s swimming and diving and, for the first time this year, men’s and women’s tennis. SoFi became the presenting sponsor of BEDN in 2017-18.

Additionally, BEDN content is available for fans to live host their own streams on Caffeine. The platform easily allows anyone, from dedicated fans to experienced broadcasters, to create their own interactive live streams featuring television and digital content. Starting a broadcast is a simple process that requires no special software or experience, only a smartphone or browser and webcam. All live streams are discoverable on Caffeine and can be joined by anybody. Unlike other platforms, Caffeine streams prioritize conversations between friends, so the chat feels more personal.
