NEW YORK -- The BIG EAST Conference has announced the schedule of 22 conference women’s basketball games in the month of December. 

The schedule begins with five contests on Friday, Dec. 4 – Seton Hall at Butler, Providence at Marquette, Georgetown at St. John’s, DePaul at Villanova and Creighton at Xavier.  Five more games are set for Sunday, Dec. 6, including the first BIG EAST game for Connecticut since the 2012-13 season, as the preseason favorite Huskies travel to Seton Hall.

The remainder of the conference schedule will be announced at a later date.  All tipoff times and television designations will be released in the near future.
