BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week
Dylan Watson, Georgetown, So., A (Guelph, Ontario)

Georgetown sophomore Dylan Watson led the Hoyas to a 17-3 season-opening victory over Lafayette with a career-best seven points on six goals and an assist. Watson completed a hat trick in the first quarter. Watson scored the second, fifth and sixth goals in the first period to help Georgetown to a 6-0 start. He also scored the eighth, 12th and 13th goals. Watson took 12 shots, nine on goal and picked up four ground balls.  
 
BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week
Connor McClelland, Marquette, Sr., M (Brampton, Ontario)
Marquette senior midfielder Connor McClelland recorded seven points on five goals and a pair of assists to help the Golden Eagles take a 2-0 start to the season. He posted a career- and game-high six points on four goals and two assists in an 11-10 win over Bellarmine on Feb. 8, where he also picked up three ground balls. He scored once in the season-opener at Cleveland State on Feb. 1. McClelland’s goal game with 47 seconds left in the fourth quarter, giving MU a 10-9 lead. Marquette won the game in OT, 11-10.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Toby Burgdorf, Providence, Jr., Goalie (Westfield, N.J.)
Providence junior goalie Toby Burgdorf went 2-0 between the pipes with wins at Boston University and against Holy Cross. Burgdorf posted a .719 save percentage with 23 saves and a 4.50 goals against average. Burgdorf and the Friar defense held their opponents to nine total goals.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
JJ Sillstrop, Denver, Fr., A (Encinitas, Calif.)
Denver freshman attacker JJ Sillstrop scored five goals on five shots in his collegiate debut, a 13-7 victory at then-No. 15 Air Force. Sillstrop scored Denver’s first three goals and four of its first five, tying the score at 1-1, 2-2 and 3-3 before giving Denver its first multi-goal lead of the day at 55-3 with 13:59 to go in the third. The five-goal outing was a Denver freshman record in a season debut.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Mac Tezak, Denver, Jr., D (Denver, Colo.)
Tezak played a key role in holding then No. 15 Air Force to just seven goals. Tezak held Air Force’s key attacker to just one goal and one assist on four shots, after he had an eight-point outing in a win over No. 5 Duke the week prior.
Alex Mazzone, Georgetown, So., LSM (Stony Brook, N.Y.)
Mazzone helped on both ends of the field in a 17-3 win at Lafayette. He scored his first career goal, the eventual game-winner, while collecting a game-high five ground balls. He also added a caused turnover. He was part of a defensive unit that helped hold Lafayette scoreless for the first 25-plus minutes of the game.
Matt Grillo, Providence, So., A  (Setauket, N.Y.)
Grillo averaged 4.5 points per game in a 2-0 week for the Friars with wins over Boston University and Holy Cross. Grillo was credited with one game-winner as he marked eight goals, one assist. He also picked up four ground balls. He had five of the six goals in the win over Holy Cross on Saturday.
